The foundation-laying ceremony of Jiangxi HongPower Equipment Factory was successfully held.

With the wind rising over Jiangxi, a new chapter in energy storage is unfolding. On May 13, 2025, on Huashuo Avenue in Ji'an, Jiangxi, salutes roared and distinguished guests gathered for the foundation-laying ceremony of the Jiangxi HongPower Energy Storage Equipment Factory. This ceremony marks a strategic step for HongPower Energy in the field of intelligent energy storage equipment manufacturing and injects strong momentum into the high-quality development of Ji'an's new energy industry.

Innovative models are shaping the blueprint for industrial development

Jiangxi HongPower Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has invested 1 billion RMB in this project, innovatively adopting a "rent-and-build" model. The company has leased part of the Phoenix Industrial Park to ensure rapid production start-up, while purchasing 60 acres of land to build modern factories and a comprehensive building. This will create an efficient industrial base, significantly enhancing capabilities in R&D, production, and office operations.

The project is expected to be fully completed and operational by February 2026, with an annual production capacity of 10 GWh of distributed energy storage systems. It will serve as a vital support for the clean energy transition, driving the aggregation of upstream and downstream industries and contributing to the local economic transformation and upgrading.

On the day of the foundation-laying ceremony, several leaders from the Ji'an County Committee and County Government attended the event and extended their warm congratulations. Representatives from HongPower 's core suppliers and strategic customers were also invited to witness this significant moment.

At the foundation-laying ceremony, speeches from representatives of all sectors were resounding, reflecting their expectations and confidence in the project.

The Hong Power’s General Manager, Huang Xiaohong, said in her speech that the Ji'an energy storage manufacturing base project is not only a key step in the company's nationwide strategic layout, but also carries the important mission of promoting the industrialization of energy storage technology and supporting the country's "dual carbon" goals. Investing in and building an energy storage equipment factory in Ji'an County is a significant move for Hong Power to establish a presence in the central region, expand nationwide, and step onto the global stage. It also reflects the company's high recognition of Ji'an's development potential and business environment.

In his speech, Zhang Junling, Deputy County Head and member of the County Committee, pointed out that the project is a significant achievement in Ji'an County's energy storage industry development. It will inject new momentum into the county's economic growth and industrial structure optimization. The government will fully support the project's construction and ensure proper service and support.

In his speech, Qin Bojin, Chairman of Zhaosheng Group, highly praised Hong Power’s technical strength and market prospects. He expressed the intention to deepen cooperation continuously to jointly build an efficient and reliable energy storage industry ecosystem. He also emphasized the broad prospects of cooperation with Hong Power and looked forward to working together to contribute more to the development of the energy storage industry.

Subsequently, the project's foundation was laid by the guests on stage, including Liu Wei, Chairman of HongPower; Huang Xiaohong, General Manager of HongPower; Zhang Zhifu, Deputy Secretary of Ji'an High-tech Zone Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of Ji'an County Party Committee; Zhang Junling, Deputy County Head of Ji'an County; Li Ling, Deputy Director of Ji'an High-tech Zone Management Committee; Qin Bojin, Chairman of Zhaosheng Group; Huang Feng, President of Chune New Energy Co., Ltd.; Zhou Linfeng, General Manager of Jiangxi Shengyun Energy; and Liang Jianqiang, General Manager of HongPower R&D Center. The ceremony reached its climax.

With salutes booming and golden shovels breaking ground, the energy storage project with a total investment of 1 billion RMB officially commenced. As several shovels of soil were turned, it symbolized the official launch of the project's construction and also signified the bright future of HongPower's business taking root in Ji'an and flourishing. After the ceremony, participants attended a Industry Chain Investment Promotion Eventorganized by the Ji'an County government to explore new opportunities for industrial development.
